Palestinian citizens are living hazardous land. Gaza has a waste landfill that citizens use for their crops. They believe that wastewater helps their crops to rise, but in actuality, does more harm. The waste is not separated, and leads to toxic water. Gaza produces 1,700 tons of waste per day, about 67 % of which are organic . 11 % are plastic and 12 % are paper. One big problem Gaza is facing is the annually increasing volume of waste because of the high density, changing consumption patterns, diversity of food and products.
